Union public Service commission (UPSC) has announced Recruitment Notification for Combined Medical Service Examination(CMS).The Candidates Applying for the (Combined Medical Service) Examination should Ensure the eligibility of the Exam.Verification of Eligibility Condition With reference to original documents only taken up after qualified for the interview.

UPSC CMS Eligibility:
Nationality
-
A candidate must be either:
- a Citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Provided that a candidate belonging to categories above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
UPSC CMS Age Limit:
The Candidates age should not Exceed 32 years for this Examination .(i.e) Candidates must have been born not earlier that 2nd aug 1989.
Age Relaxation
- Maximum Five year relaxation ifthe candidates belongs to SC/ST
- Maximum Three years relaxation if the candidates belongs to OBC
- Upto a Maximum of Three years relaxation For the Defence Service PWD candidates.
- upto a maximum of Five years relaxation For Ex-Serviceman
Application Fee:
The candidate are required to pay the fee of Rs.200/- by depositing the money in any branch of SBI or by using Net banking Facility of SBI or by using Visa/master/rupay/credit/debit card of SBI or by using Internet banking of SBI.
The Candidates who belongs to SC/ST/PWD are Exempted From fee(male/female).
